Butt of power
IQOO -or Live, depending on who you ask- has opted for the latest components for the IQOO 3. Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 could not be missing, which is accompanied by RAM of 6, 8 or 12 GB LPDDR5 and storage of 128 or 256 GB, UFS 3.1, a standard that was finalized only a few weeks ago.
The battery is 4,440 mAh, an acceptable amount, although considering that it is a mobile gamer that can be used for intense gaming sessions, it is not very much especially in the 5G versions. At least it loads really fast, with the support for fast charging of 55W, not the fastest of the moment, but close. The terminal comes with a special charging cable designed for long sessions.
The Vivo IQOO 3 opts for the perforated screen to solve the ballot of the camera for selfies. This camera is in the upper right corner and is a relatively small perforation. The screen itself is a 6.44-inch Super AMOLED panel with FullHD + resolution (2400 x 1080)
Something that is missing in this Vivo IQOO 3 is the increase of the refreshment of the screen since 60 Hz is maintained. Now, you may not be able to see them, but the system will record your touches with more precision. The touch panel has a 180 Hz refresh.
We are facing a mobile to play, and that is why two pressure-sensitive buttons are included in the terminal frame, which you can use to perform actions in the supported games. In addition, the mobile has a 4D vibration haptic engine (that is, with four points, one in each corner of the terminal).
The Vivo IQOO 3 is a mobile for games that opts for a more normal design than other alternatives. There are no neons or spaceship design, but a terminal in normal appearance. As such, good photographic performance is also to be expected. For him, he has a four-lens camera on the back.
It is the main sensor of 48 megapixels f / 1.79, a wide-angle of 13 MP, a telephoto sensor of 13 MP and 2 MP for the depth lens. All together achieve a zoom -digital, yes- 20x. Selfies are provided by the 16 MP lens with aperture f / 2.45.
In terms of connectivity, having the latest Qualcomm means winning the latest in connectivity as well. The 12 GB models have 5G SA and NSA connectivity, while the rest remain in LTE. We also have Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1 and, yes, a minijack connector.
